The Cropped Sweater

4 February 2018

Finally, we've reached the end of January! I think a lot of you will agree that last month was pretty, well, miserable. However, I also think that this is the case every January, but I've just forgotten how simply dull it is.

On a less miserable note - When it comes to jumpers, I can be pretty fussy; I don't like being too hot in them, a lot of jumpers are itchy, so finding the right one can be a challenge. It was only a couple of weeks ago when I discovered what is now my new favourite: this cream cropped sweater from!

When I ordered this, I didn't anticipate to like it as much as I did; I had been wanting to try out a cream jumper for a while, and I was instantly attracted to this one. However, I did notice the sleeves and thought they would be the drawback, nevertheless, I decided to buy it anyway. I thought that, for £15, it wasn't really the end of the world.

So, it arrived and, to be honest, I was slightly put off by the fact that it was slightly less white than I initially thought, but realised that this must have been down to using bright lighting in the photo on the site. I was, however, pleased with the fact that the long bows on the sleeves weren't nearly as irritating as I thought they might be!

What I love about this product is the fact that it has a high neck, as well as being cropped; I feel that this style suits me so much more than low necked or slightly longer sweaters. I love pairing this with my Topshop Jamie jeans, which you can find here. In terms of footwear, I am loving the look of the sweater, jeans and my black, faux suede ankle boots from Primark.
