Winter '15 Style Edit

15 January 2016

How is it already the middle of the month? It's crazy! Today was, by a long stretch, the coldest day of the month so far. It was FREEZING. During the colder months, I always need to wrap up in warm, cosy clothes, and I have a few favourites to share.

The Selfie Top
I'm not usually a crop-top kind of girl, however I bought this from because I wanted to tuck it into skirts to add a more edgy look to my outfit. This was from New Look, and was very reasonably priced at £7.99. This goes really well with my tan skirt, which is also featuring in this post, and the gold foil 'selfie' print adds a nice touch to the plain top.

The Tunic Dress
My favourite dress of the season, this definitely deserved a mention. I love the way this fits and the length of it, too. It goes well with many pairs of shoes and boots. At £17.99, it was a little more on the pricey side, but it was definitely worth it. This was also my Christmas Day dress and was the perfect choice, as it was comfortable all day and, because it is a loosely-fitting dress, it didn't feel to tight at any point during the day.

The Plaid Skirt
This is yet another New Look purchase (most of the clothes mentioned are from New Look!). It is quite a short skirt, however I still love it. The checks combined with a black, long sleeved top makes the perfect smart casual Winter outfit. At £9.99, I personally think that this skirt is very reasonably priced. The quality is really good and durable, plus the waist is elasticated -- a big thumbs up.

The Leather Jacket
Right, here we have an item of clothing that isn't from New Look (!). This is definitely my biggest bargain. A Hollister leather jacket, this would have normally been quite pricey, however I managed to get it for under £30 in the sale. It goes very well with most outfits and is the perfect jacket for when it isn't warm enough to go without an extra layer, but is too warm for a full-on coat.

The Tan Skirt
Ooh, the tan skirt! This is the perfect pop of colour to any plain outfit. I never thought I would ever wear a tan skirt, but here we are! Yet another New Look purchase, this skirt was very reasonably-priced, although I can't quite remember how much it was. This goes really well with my 'selfie' top, which is mentioned above, and also my burgundy checked scarf and my plain black long-sleeved top.

The Converse Hoodie
This is my favourite hoodie, by far. I'd been wanting a burgundy hoodie for a while, and I received this one for Christmas! It's better than I could've ever imagined. I love the cosy, durable material and the way it looks with plain black leggings and my tan wedged ankle boots.

The Ankle Boots
These are my absolute favourite boots! They're New Look boots (!), and I got them for Christmas. I can honestly say I love them. A lot. They are very comfortable and go extremely well with most outfits of mine. I love the tartan detailing at the top -- they add a really authentic effect.

So that's that! All my favourite Winter clothing! Thank you for all the support you have given to me on this blog -- I really appreciate it.
