Things I Loved in March '18

3 April 2018

Gosh, it's definitely been a while since I last wrote a 'favourites' post - I actually can't remember the exact time when! Over the past month, however, I've accumulated a section of different things that I'm eager to share with you all.

The first, of which, happens to be my MAC 'Velvet Teddy' lipstick, which I only bought only a couple of days ago, so it isn't technically a monthly favourite, but oh well. I am loving this!  I was desperately running out of my 'Modesty' lipstick, which had lasted me well considering when I'd bought it; I love the colour, however I wanted a formulation that would last a lot longer than the cremesheen formula of 'Modesty'.

My next favourite has to be my culottes from New Look. I truly am wearing these all the time, especially for work, as they're the perfect 'smart but comfy' trousers that I'm always looking for. Lately, I've really been into the 'trousers' trend and am slowly creating a small collection. They're so flattering and, recently, I've been pairing them with my ASOS trainers, which you can find out more about in my previous post, here.

Next, I wanted to talk about a couple of toiletries that I've recently discovered. The first, of which, being the Charles Worthington Violet Toning Shampoo (I was only able to find the full size on the Boots site), which I bought in an attempt to brighten the blonde areas of my hair. I did buy this in the travel size, as I wasn't really prepared to pay the full price if I didn't like it too much, but I do, in fact, love it! As well as brightening up the highlights in my hair (which I noticed after the first wash), the product actually made my hair feel so much softer than it usually felt.

Another toiletry product I've been loving is the Imperial Leather 'Marshmallow' bath cream, which I use as a shower gel instead, but I really don't think there's all that much difference between the two. I'd heard people raving about this product on social media and decided to give it a go; the smell is amazing! If you're not really into sweet scents than I possibly would not recommend this, otherwise, it is an incredible product. I bought mine from Home Bargains, however it can also be found on Superdrug for what I feel is approximately the same price (£1.89) and, for 500ml, I think it's a pretty great deal.

Recently, I've highly been into wearing jewellery, especially bracelets and watches; I love the look of stacked bracelets etc. at the moment. As of late, I have been pairing my Pandora bracelet (which I kindly received for Christmas) with a watch that I bought with a voucher from The Real Thing (which was also gifted to me for Christmas!).

Weirdly enough, the day I decided to use the voucher, the store were holding a 20% off deal in celebration of 20 years off The Real Thing, so a watch that would have originally been almost £30 cost me absolutely nothing!

And that concludes this post! I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday and enjoyed the Bank Holiday yesterday!

What have you been loving throughout March?
