Pamper Evening

14 March 2016

Hello, and welcome to another blog post! It's the middle of March, and it's finally starting to get warmer outside.

Sometimes it's difficult to find time to pamper myself, what with busy schedules and everything, but once in a while I love to have some time to myself in order to relax my mind and body. The following methods are some of the things I've found that help me to have that dreamy pamper evening I've been wanting.

Light a candle. This may seem like quite an obvious thing to do, but candles are extremely relaxing. They can help you to visualise being in an actual spa sometimes, and can be very therapeutic.

Run a bath. This is the best part of a pamper evening for me. I love really warm baths after a long day, and adding a Lush bath bomb is the icing on the cake. I love the ones that have hue bursts of colour, but also the ones that have creamy textures and relaxing essences.

Apply a face mask. I've recently gotten back into these. I love to apply masks that you can peel off afterwards, and my favourites are the cheap sachets from Boots, as there are so many different smells and flavours to choose from.

Give yourself a manicure/pedicure. If you are always busy, you might not find enough time to paint your nails as much as you would like to. It always cheers me up to see my different coloured nails after a manicure/pedicure.

Make a hot chocolate or a relaxing drink. If it's Summer, you may not want to make a hot chocolate or any kind of hot drink, but a refreshing glass of coconut milk, a smoothie or regular milk always brightens up my evenings.

And on that note, I've reached the end of my tips and tricks as to how to have a relaxing, beneficial pamper evening. Let me know if you tried any of these methods!
