It's been a while, hasn't it? Unfortunately over the past couple of weeks, life just caught up with me and didn't allow me any time to have a proper blogging session. I've never had the intention of posting for the sake of posting, for as long as I've had this blog.

On an entirely different note, today I thought I'd give you some of my best tis for quick and easy hair and makeup to save time, red stress and ultimately make life easier for you, on those days when you've not really got anything planned or you're running late, but still want to make an effort.

Going for a simple hairstyle is my first tip on getting ready easily. Hence why, I decided on a half-up topknot. To create this style, it's just a case of sectioning off the hair, twisting it into a bun and tying it up, plus securing with hair grips if necessary.

In terms of makeup, I'd recommend narrowing down your routine if you're running late. Only go for the necessities; for me, these are mascara, powder and a good lipstick, as well as a couple of extras. If you're wanting coverage but not in full, go for a BB or CC cream rather than a foundation, or even use a concealer as a great alternative. Only the other day I purchased the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara and daresay I'll never use another. It's the only mascara I've used that really lengthens and defines my lashes.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my simple hair and makeup tips! I know that this kind of post would really help me out – I hope mine will help you in the same way!

What are your go-to makeup and hairstyles?

I'm writing a Q&A! If there are any questions you want to ask me regarding blogging, beauty, fashion or tips, let me know on either my social media posts or in the comments section of this post!
