I've been into Superdrug a few times since hearing about this brand of shower washes and foams, but it was my last trip when I decided to try it out for myself and give my own verdict. The brand in question is Bilou, one I didn't know too much about. I picked up their Coco Cocktail shower foam to try out, as I'm a huge fan of these particular products.
At £3.99, I thought this product was reasonably-priced, although I am aware of cheaper alternatives. You do get a decent amount in the bottle (200ml), so I wasn't too concerned about the price. One thing about this that I adore is the packaging – a cute and minimalistic design that is arguably very summery.
Trying it out, I discovered that the formula is so, so smooth and foamy. I love the way it feels on my skin and the fact that it rinses easily. However, it has to be said that the smell is the only thing that lets the product down. You can smell a hint of vanilla and a faint coconut fragrance, but it doesn't really last on the skin. It was disappointing, because I'm a big fan of every other aspect of the shower foam.
