I've Become a Jewellery Wearer?

8 October 2017

I've never been all that much of a jewellery wearer, I have to admit. I think this is because I haven't really had any desire for it, or because I have never found pieces that are quite what I would go for.

In about 2014, I finally got round to having my ears pierced for the first time, and absolutely loved how it looked. So much so that, in January 2016, I went back and had my second set on my lobes pierced. Basically, I've had earrings for a few years now. But in terms of necklaces, bracelets and rings, it is only in recent months that I've started to venture out.

I've always known that necklaces, for me to love them, have to be small and pendant-like, rather than chokers, beaded etc. I finally found this (similar) set of 4 from Primark a few weeks back and absolutely love the minimal look.

It has taken me a long time to find hoop earrings that I love, so finding this set from Topshop seemed like a minor miracle. I really like the way sleepers look but, no matter how many times I try, I literally cannot get them in properly. What I like about the set I have is that they have clasps, so I find them so much easier to put in.

As far as rings are concerned, I don't actually wear them at all, even though I love how they look. 'm hoping that eventually I will get into wearing them more.

What's your favourite piece of jewellery you own?
