The 'Jamie' Jeans

6 December 2017

The other day, I was on the hunt for some Christmas presents in the Trafford Centre, when I came across the giant Topshop they have. And of course, I couldn't help but have a nosey inside. In the denim section, I spotted the jean that I've been looking for for some time. But, with them being £40, I really didn't want to buy them. After while of deliberating, though, I gave in and bought them.

I have to say, I think I've become a Topshop jeans convert. After trying them on, I realised why they're so expensive and so raved about by other people, because the quality is so good. I bought a pair from the 'Jamie' range because these are high-rise and skinny, and so seemed like they best suited my jean preferences. Is it just me who is really picky about jeans?

I tried on two leg lengths, L30 and L32 to see what style I liked best and, in the end, went for the shorter leg, so they sit an inch or so above my ankles. In terms of colour, I knew what I was looking for: a greyish-blue darker wash, so that they looked nice paired with darker or lighter tops. In the end, I went for the MOTO Authentic Jamie Jeans.

In a nutshell, all I have to say is that I definitely have a new-found love for Topshop's Jamie jeans, even though the only aspect that puts me off is the price. However, I'm sure that the jeans would make an excellent gift for somebody who loves fashion.
