June Favourites

6 July 2017

Where did June go, exactly? I feel like I blinked and missed it, and that my birthday was such a long time ago! In  which case, I thought it'd only be right to share my favourites of the month.

The first thing I thought I'd mention is The Body Shop's body sorbet, in the Pinita Colada scent (this is currently on offer on the site!). If you read one of my latest posts, you'll be aware of how much I love the shower gel from this range, so you can imagine how pleased I was when I got the sorbet for my birthday. In all honestly, I first assumed this to be like a scrub that you'd use in the shower, but it turns out that it's a moisturiser!

Next on my list is Benefit's 'Dew The Hoola'. I previously mentioned that I had received this for my birthday and have to say I haven't been disappointed since! This product is perfect for gaining a dewy, summery look. It's very easy to apply and you don't really need a lot, due to the great pigmentation it has.

Alternatively, whenever I've been on the go, I've been getting a lot of use out of this bronzer and blush duo, by Ted Baker. This came in a set I received for Christmas but have never really appreciated its goodness until recently. This gives very natural but noticeable definition and I thought it would be very orange-toned, however this is not the case.

I've also been getting considerable use out of the Sanctuary Salted Caramel & Macadamia body lotion. This smells so amazing; it's got that sweet smell that you would expect from such a product, but without the overwhelming, sickly scent that many other products have.

Finally, I thought I would mention my 3-pack of hoop earrings from Topshop. I'd been on the hunt for some simple hoop earrings that were easier to put in than sleepers (which I can't get in at all!) and was pretty satisfied when I found these. They attach by a clasp at the back which makes them a hundred times easier to put in. There are three different sizes and I definitely get the most use out of the smaller ones, as they're the best for everyday wear. For only £6, I would definitely recommend.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourites of last ,month. This was largely beauty-based, purely because I haven't yet discovered new things of other kinds; I hope to have a wider variety in my next post!

What have your favourites of the month been?
